Ladakh Festival

Ladakhis love their celebrations and festivals. We are lucky to be in Leh for the Ladakh Parade. Early in the morning people get together at their Gompas for prayers and chanting. Mid morning groups from all corners of Ladakh form a cortege through the main Bazar in Leh. They wear the finest of their local dresses, the best of their jewelry and also showcase some of their traditional crafts related to their daily life.
